I’m team Caleb for this one. Nothing against Benavidez, but I just like Caleb.

david b is a clown. how many times did he stand up, only to sit back down. another fighter who's father is too highly invested. caleb going to be burying another body

It certainly looks like it's gonna be a fun fight either way. Caleb is certainly more likeable than Benavidez... that's for sure.

The result? Meh.

A Caleb win will certainly raise the stock of Canelo, and even more important... will give Canelo an out for not ever facing Benavidez... which is something I don't want.

I think Caleb did what he could against Canelo... but it's frustrating to see these fighters rise to the occasion against everybody else... only to lie down and play timid against Canelo (see: Callum Smith, Sergey Kovalev).

Not accusing Caleb of that, since again, I thought he did what he could at the time.

If I had to predict, though... I think Benavidez takes this one.

Which in my opinion means Canelo is rooting hard for Plant.
