Dazn @primo and of the released schedule this looks like one of the much better matches. Love to see it but hard pressed to order dazn again after their 2nd 3rd rate increase.
Quality fight no doubt. Lara is a legit brick thrower but not like he cannot be caught with all those openings he creates. Problem for Wood is he'll have to be near perfect, very little mistakes and keep Lara lunging.
Dazn is close to 30 Canadian dollars now, they do have the Champions league and all NFL games though but it's getting close to being cancelled for me too... They even have love.. shocking..it's a shame as it's definitely the best and easiest to use sports streaming service in Canada...
Interesting match up v two guys who weren't thought of to be that great, Lara was the underdog v wozzaand wood v can... Can looked dreadful v wood though and wood put up a good fight v Conlan but I think most days he would have lost that fight.. looks like he hits hard but I just don't think he's that good.. and British boxers don't fare well against mexicans a lot of the time so I'm backing Lara in this one.
This fight should be a war

Whilst Palmerq is watching crazy boxing Yafai is having a tough fight against Ruiz.

Ruiz should win it as he knocked down and nearly stopped Yafai in the last round.

The initial reaction was interesting. Saw many with "only seconds left" so let him make the round. Does a corner track time, of course! Does a trainer justify damage in order to count seconds. I don't think so. It's not baseball where you reach 'home plate' and you're declared safe. That damage sits on you and all you had to do was watch the pogo legs of Wood trying to find themselves in corner. Didn't notice at first but Lara was to the point of pushing the ref out of the way and already cocking the left. Wood will most certainly fight another day and look forward to it. Same with Lara who looks to have some serious natural "lazy" power. Not as an insult, but that type you don't load up. Or even set properly. He had Wood to the body with it a bit also. It's just that scary casual and natural type power.
Leigh Wood was ahead on all three judges' scorecards before he was knocked out by Mauricio Lara in their world title fight.
The scorecards for the fight have now been released as judges Howard Foster and Guillermo Perez Pineda both had Wood up by four rounds to two at the time of the stoppage. Judge Oliver Brien had Lara winning just one round before he landed the knockout blow, given the Mexican the second and all other rounds to Wood.
