Are you comparing a fighter with a record of 13-9 to one that's 42-9 because that's make you look dumb...

    Doesn't matter when they happened because he's 28 with FOUR LOSSES...FOUR one to a guy that's 13-9

Let me give you a little history.

No excuse. What can you do when fighters on the spotlight won't give you your shot? Much like a Marvin Hagler's career. What, would you say Hagler was ducking everybody in his first 40 plus fights?

Four isn't so bad, but your boy is gonna step in with Judah right? Last I heard, he lost to a nine loss record fighter. If four is laughable, what does that say about Judah?

First things first, Santos is much better than Carlos Boldimir. Also that was a close fight, stopped prematurely due to and accidental clash of heads. Some scored it for Margarito, some had it a draw, perhaps some thought Santos won. But Santos is Puerto Rican and can you guess what happens when you have a close fight, or even a fight in another country against a hometown favorite? (Roy Jones knows the answer to that, because he never fights overseas.) Life happends, and it happened to be that Margarito got the loss. It's a loss, every fighter can lose. That's why boxing is so compelling. Any fighter can lose. So it can be said that Santos is the only one to barely edge out Margarito. No shame in that.

I have no clue what your talking about, 14-9, is made up as far as I'm concerned.
Margarito became pro when he was 15. He would marry his highschool love and lose three times total, during his teenage years. His last Welterweight loss was when he was 18. One loss from a guy 3 years older than him, which counts for a lot if your a little teenager. And the other two from guys 10 years older.

Losses happen when your young, especially if your professional debut is at the age of 15. What were you doing at the age of 15? Steeling snicker bars from the 7/11? I didn't even have a job at the time.

Mayweather is blessed to have had the chance to start as an amature. And you can bet he lost too when he was young. But I'm not going to google it, in order to say Mayweather is a chump because he lost when he was a teenager. Because that is just total nonsense. Just like your argument about 4 losses.

And if you can't get 4 losses out of your mind. Just think of Carlos Boldimir.

I wouldn't say Margarito is a coward, the timing for certain fights might have been off, or something else. I don't know, and only the fighters know the truth, all we can do is speculate. A couple of years ago, Margarito wasn't ready, now, noone else is ready for him. Because of all the "ducking" or "mistiming", Margarito should have to fight a bigger name than Cintron, before getting a shot at Floyd. But, I hope Floyd takes Margarito before Oscar or Hatton so he can show people that Margarito is not ready for him.

    Agreed.

I don't by any means think that Margarito is a coward...I think that he's a really good fighter...but lately...his fans are killing me with this Floyd is dodging him or Floyd has to fight him horse shat...especially since Floyd has finally landed the fights that he's been trying to get for the past two years.

That's my only gripe. Everyone starts discrediting Floyd for facing the fighters that he has fought...but the funny thing is this...he's fought better fighters than the ones that Margarito has & he's beaten them more soundly & he's done it with style.

I guess this guy is made up too

    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=008057

and secondly if he wasn't ready to turn pro he shouldn't have...i really could care less about him marrying his high school sweet heart how is that relevant?...and I don't need to look to baldomir because he has 42-9...not 13-9....so losing to him wouldn't be as bad..and you mentioning judah what does that mean? because even though judah lost to baldomir he still has a better resume than Margarito...hagler didn't get the big fight until later, but i guarantee you this he didn't lose to guy that was 13-9 at any stage of his career...don't make excuses for this guy...besides i don't why you and other margarito pushers are so anxious to watch

    Raheem v Morralles...wait i mean PBF v Margarito....

I'm sorry marvin hagler for even allowing this guy to compare "margariwho" to some one of your caliber....

did you know that margarito lost to a guy that is 13-9

"Margarito should have to fight a bigger name than Cintron, before getting a shot at Floyd."

He's the most consistent Welterweight alive. Nobody can argue against that without looking like a fool.
And now he needs to do more to earn a shot at Welterweight version Floyd?

I agree. Margarito does need a "bigger name" soon, but he's been asking for that name for years. He needs his chance.

If Margarito is not ready, and is so "green" as you guys say he is.

Why didn't Floyd fight him earlier? Lets test our math.

    4 million for Sharmba

6 plus million for Margarito fight

That's more than a 2 million dollar raise for a fight?

Hmmmm... if Margarito is so "green," and such an easy fight... I think we should go with that fight instead. Why not, we can buy another house, with that extra 2 mill.

    What does Mayweather do?

    Fight Sharmba for 4 mill.

Sixteen. If your going to base an argument on a sixteen year old Margarito...

    Yeah your right.
Margarito doesn't deserve any kind of shot for the big time. Because he lost when he was 16.
Hell, retire Marg! You suck! That sixteen really ruined it for you!

I never imagined how a sixteen year old fight, can decide the fate for an entire career.
Thanks SalTheButcher JonesJrMayweather for this enlightenment. I finally see the light.
    The light of idiocy.
