He already entertained thoughts of fighting Makabu couple of years ago, before coming to his senses backing off.

If there's a list of this era's top multi division road warriors who face top dogs, contended and won in the title picture it's Jack. No silver platters handed after arguable L to Pascal. He decides to go 190 and actually works the weight and does work at lower level. Then springs up and beats the brakes off of the 190 trinket Canelo was teasing at the very highest level and makes himself a 3 division champ. No doubt, I had to go back, I forgot what a entertaining war Pascal and Jack had. Had him winning that one and he also got screwed in 'draw' with DeGale. Man has earned his spot. That's for sure.
