Your completely off on this. Penalosa was actually a great champion. Levels above Bustos, Vargas and Aguirre. Thing is it was at the Flyweight level. Gonzalez fights at Junior Featherweight. 2 or 3 divisions above Penalosa's best. The fact that Penalosa is 34 is another reason why this is a bad match up for him.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK

Not sure I think hes along the lines of fighters like Jose A. Aguirre, Isacc Bustos, Rosendo Alvarez, Ricardo Vargas who can fight but NOT at a WORLD CLASS level. They'll beat some decent fighter but once they face the champs they'll just go in there and take a beating....IMO
