Briggs VS Peters WHO and HOW??

Don't get downgradable because Briggs wasn't impressive last night.

Fact is, Briggs showed enough to dig down and beat a champion. Something Peter couldn't do against Wlad OR Toney.

Briggs wins this. He has a lot more champions heart then Peter.

Starr that is one of the stupidest thing's Ive ever heard you post. Briggs showed enough to dig down and beat a champion wheras Peter couldn't.. THat's all there is to your logic? Pathetic. And incorrect. Sam Peter dug down real deep to KO Julius Long for the NABO strap. I use this comparison because Lyakovich was about as much of a champ as Long, or at least fought like it last night.... Sergei has never been anywhere near as good as Wlad or Toney, let alone last night.. He was an absolute chump, didn't even do a damn thing. As if BRiggs had to dig down, Sergei was offering himself up on a silver platter as was Briggs, just neither of them wanted to get into a fight because they knew they didn't have the stamina to fight one full round. Peter showed much more vs Wlad and Toney than Briggs has in years. And you act as if last night was just an off night for Briggs... Actually it's the only time he's faced a meaningful opponent in ages, having lost to every other one he's ever fought. Briggs was a freaking robot for 11 rounds, he had no stamina, couldn't even hold his hands up... I don't know what you saw that would make you pick him against anyone decent.

Long couldn't live in a ring with Brewster. Don't discredit Sergei because you dont like the performance and want to discredit Brewster. Facts are Samuel had his chance against Wladimer and he couldn't win it. he had his chance against Toney and he didn't win it but they gave him a decision and he's about to get beaten one sided again by Toney in thsi rematch. And the only think Peter showed against Wlad and Toney is that he can take a punch but Toney was breaking him down pretty easily. And he had Wlad down 3 times but couldn't finish him. Something BREWSTER could do. And Sergei beat Brewster and was just stopped by Briggs no matter how it looked who was the winner and who was the loser?

I don't think that much of Samuel Peter honestly. And don't have a huge opinion on Briggs. But Briggs did what Peter hasn't.

And where do you get off saying Sergei doesn't get credit and you want to rank Wlad above him. The only champion Wlad has beaten for a belt was Chris Byrd and opted to fight a rematch with him other then Brewster. Sergei came from a year off TO BEAT Brewster whom Wlad was stopped by. Sergei was being called the second best and second most skilled of the heavyweights out there and now that he didnt look impressive and Briggs stopped him he's no better then julius long?

I never said Sergei was the 2nd best anything, and I have never thought Brewster was very good. WHICH HE ISNT. He has been thoroughly outboxed even in his good wins.. did you forget his fight with that Meehan bum?? How about Krasniqi, Clifford Ettiene, Oquendo. Brewster is nothing special.. And I love the way you say he could stop Wlad wheras Peter couldn't so he's better. Brewster was getting his ass handed to him so badly by Klitschko, until he completely ran out of gas.. In your mind I suppose Wlad could never beat a fighter the calibre of Brewster ... So what Samuel had his chance and he didn't win, he dropped Wlad 3 times and put up a pretty good fight vs Toney, obviously he improved considerably... And yet because he lost, and Sergei beat Brewster, that's all there is to it?!? Besides I'm talking about the Sergei I saw last night, he flat out SUCKED. It doesn't have anything to do with me wanting to discredit anyone. Briggs won by last second KO in one of the worst fights I have ever seen in it's entirety. He wasn't able to do anything for 11 ROUNDS against someone who wasn't even there to fight. Peter would come right at him and he wouldn't be able to do anything unless he drastically turned his conditioning around. I honestly don't even know why your arguing this so much Starr I mean both fighters are black, it's not as if your honors at stake

Actually no. I'm saying for you not to take credit from Sergei like he's some bum the level of Long. Sergei deserves credit for what he did and from the seems of it just because you didn't like the performance you're reducing him to bum status because Shannon beat him. THAT is what I'm telling you And if you're truly ONLY talking about the Sergei last fight why even reduce him to long status? You act like he's been like that his whole career And put up a good fight against Wlad? All Peter did was knock him down 3 times. Other then that he lost every round he didn't didn't he? And if by put up a good fight against Toney you mean stunning him in one round then have to you. But Toney broke down Peter and was dominating him down the stretch and its a travesty he got that decision. And Peter got his ass handed to him by Wladimer EVERY ROUND that he didn't knock him down in. Which is 10 rounds.

And you say Peter has considerably improved

HOW!?!?! Tell me ONE THING he has changed about his style. Because last time I checked he still gets hit by 90 percent of punches thrown at him and doesn't know the definition of a jab, his shots are still wide and he doesn't know the meaning of a straight.

Sergei is a counter puncher who beats fighters who come straight at him and is content doing enough to win a fight. He did what he had to do to beat Guinn, he did what he had top do to beat Brewster and he was doing what he had to do to beat Briggs. And even YOU have to acknowledge that.
