I was just going to bring Jonah into this debate. That guy was a physical freak... seriously... I think there was something wrong with him genetically, haha. Until his kidneys brought him back to earth, he looked superhuman! His legs were like tree trunks!

As for 100m speed, the current fastest player over 100m in Rugby union is Tonderai Chavhanga, a Zimbabwean born South African. He has clocked 10.2 seconds over 100m and is the fastest Zimbabwean on record to date. There are a few other quick guys like Bryan Habana (10.4), Sosene Anesi (10.5), Brett Stapleton (10.33) and Joe Rokocoko (10.6)... then again, speed doesn't really make a sport 'hard'.
