Of course you realize Hatton only drew in 8,000 people when he fought Collazo right? And his perfomance that night will not draw in any new American fans.
Of course i realise this. And do you not realise that, for a largely unknown fighter in casual boxing fans eyes as Ricky is stateside, that 8000 is a good start. Bet you this pal, not one of the fans that night walked out early, or even boo'ed the performance.

Do ya not think that the percentage's will play a part in the numbers Ricky could attract stateside. How many people live in the UK and turn up to watch him fight. Compare this to the size of the american audience and the potential to draw even more than the 22,000 he gets in the UK. He has a style of fighting that will get people out and pay to watch. I guess the only way this can be decided is to look at PPV figures once Ricky has had his 3rd fight on HBO and compare them to other PPV fighters around. Will be interesting to see the figures of Floyds last fight.
