If he does any clinching it's because just like Sam Peter, Calvin brock is going to try and get on the inside and get his shots off.

I think Wlad gets too much shit for clinching but I think he should do more Lennox Lewis moves and also push away some as well, especially against a smaller fighter.

I understand where you're coming from Bx Wlad didn't use to fight this way....he doesn't use the hook much anymore either unless it's just off the jab and then he doesn't sit down on it.

But anyways he did use to be a lot more exciting.....but just like you shouldn't hate PBF for "boxing" you shouldn't hate on Wlad for doing what it takes to win.

I agree, and its not just his stance, he has an odd habit of tilting his head towards his right shoulder and at the same time not keeping the left up. He just looks open for a right hand.

I don't think Brock moves all that well either....he doesn't look like a tap dancer in there he looks like he is more comfortable flat footed which won't help him vs any good athletes

Any fool that thinks Wlad is anywhere near as bad as Nick(who I respect) or John(who makes blood squirt out of my eyes) is simply a fool or a hater. Anyone who actually likes boxing should be very very happy Wlad is around.

Very true 1st rd.....Wladimir is the best title holder out there and I think if King was man enough to allow a unification tournament then he'd come out on top.

There is a young group of good American heavyweights who just need time to develop....the older fighters are consistent but the guys who SHOULD be in their primes aren't and it's a shame
