Gotta keep in mind he's only 20. Still lots of room for improvement.

Good power combinations in the 7th. Cruz still around... but he's taken a lot of punishment.

Yeah... granted. He needs to move up to 10-rounders. Not worried though. Quality of opponents has been moving up.

i agree he has time to improve but i disagree that his opposition has been moving up. these fights aren't helping him. he seems to have stagnated

His progression at 16 professional fights stacks up more than well against certain champions that have amassed their first 30-40 wins against clearly inferior opposition.

Stagnated? Maybe. He definitely needs to improve in some key areas. But at 20, he's got time on his side.

Munguia is looking quite a bit better than he has done, still a bit of a wild man who gets hit but he's whacking well in a bit of a controlled way, he's such a big lad too and derevyachenko is pretty good too.

Truth. But man is top 10 ranked twice and they're talking titles , can't have it both ways.

Also gives him more time for fantastic highlight reel ko in a fight he's dominating

This Cruz showed up. Tough nut. Up to Zayas to crack them. That jab looks a little backhanded down the stretch though.
