Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whittaker was one of the best pound for pound boxers of the nineties. He was robbed of two dominant performances over Julio Cesar Chavez and Delahoya (less dominant than in the Chavez fight but I still thought Whitaker won). Both were in their prime when he fought them. As he got older he got KOed by Trinidad but in his prime, his speed, footwork and boxing skill were second to none. Whitaker is one of the few people I can see outboxing Mayweather Jr if they were to fight in Pernell's prime. An outstanding boxer if you love the scientific/tactical/technical part of the game.
