Floyd it seems comes across to most people as unpleasant, as the article suggested. And out of those who see this in him, some get turned off from him by it and others put it aside due to his excellence in the ring. It seems to me that the main thing keeping him, in the eyes of many, from the step up to the pure legend/superstar echelon is a few more fights and victories against boxers that have a great status themselves. Sure, he has fought several excellent fighters. Yet, I would bet that if he fights and beats a few more highly-respected fighters his status will rise.
