Wacko - well done for the article.

    HOWEVER,

Floyd is a happy to diss the Leonards etc of this world...

...but when we, the neutrals see right through the Mayweather sham we're the haters?

    Please.

His fight with baldy was like watching paint dry - it was like an amatuer fight without the head gear, point-scoring and ducking any aggression.

Some say it was 'boxing at it's finest' - but Baldy was hardly The Raging Bull was he?

A P4P fighter, should be judged on how he fairs against other P4P ranked fighters... Floyd is number 1, yet chooses to avoid all serious threats.

We can dress up Baldy all we want and say how he hasn't been beaten for 300 years / 250 fights...

But WE ALL sure as hell know Baldy would rank behind Margarito, Cintron, Collazo, Cotto and Hatton - nobody would bet their house on him beating any of those fighters at 147. Furthermore, these guys would have beaten Gatti in quicker time than Baldimor (such is Gatti nowadays).

Ultimately, Floyd does not want to 'Fight' his way to victory - any remote outside chance of getting stiches / injuries against a fighter imeadiately rules them off Floyd's radar.

Not sure what to make of that. Wacko knows its not slanderous to have an opinion, he's just fucking around.

Not true, there is a massive grey area and thats the problem. Not alot of people give a fuck about Mayweather which leads him to adopt these roles of bully, bigmouth etc etc in order to force a reaction. There isnt one.

Mayweather said he was going to do this and do that, have him waving the white flag and all the rest of it. In the end it didnt materialise so he should expect to be called on it. Add to that his inability to control his lip afterwards and I see it as no surprise that he is getting it out of both barrels and from all directions.

Just to add. Without fail Ricky Hatton is subjected to written taunts about his weight between fights. It happens every time without fail. Im not just talking about "nuthuggers" and "fanboys" on boxing forums but big time boxing publications. we all know that he is going to rack on a few pounds and we all know that it wont stop him making weight, yet it still continues. As a Hatton fan should I be disgusted that this goes on? should I call into question the knowledge of anyone that chips in with their own cheap shot? Of course not. Its the topic of the day and rest assured, a few weeks after the Urango fight it will all start up again.

Chin up Wacko, its the way it goes

Ok just about every fighter when asked of the outcome will say: I'm gonna KO his azz and beat him senseless and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

I think your missing the point Memphis...Its not about the man out of the ring, its the man in the ring Floyd put on an absolute clinic on Saturday thr about 468 punches and landed over half of them, did so with a hurt hand, all the while his opponent thru 600 some odd punches and landed only 13%....That is the defenition of any Martial Art including Boxing...The name of the game is to hit with being hit as little as possible...Wacks is trying to bring that 2 light...You cant with a right mind shoot holes in a virtuoso peformance cause you dont like the guy...Thats consisdered hate...If Floyds an azz than he's an azz but that has nothing to do with his in ring Prowess...BOTTOM LINE!!!!

If he barely scraped out a win against Baldi and got a controversial desicion, you bet your azz I would be all over my Boyz peformance and be probably be leading the charge, As a Fan I have high expectation for my fighters ...The fact is he pitched a shutout and people complain

    Its not right

As Far as Hattons scrutiny about his weight well I agree your gonna take your lumps as a fan of a fighter but its mind boggling when its apparent thats its 100% pure unmitigated ignorant hatred

Im not missing the point at all. Like I said, I could care less, I dont have a comment on his performance other than I really wish I didnt have to wait up until 5 a.m to watch it. Mayweather soundly beat his man. Well done, but dont people have the right to ask "what happened to the stoppage?" "why such a wanker afterwards?"

    Are these questions not aloud?

I haven't, nor will I attempt to wade through all of the posts and articles regarding Mayweathers perormance. But Im pretty confident the bottem line in all of them is, I expected more. I dont see anything wrong with that.

We all knew to begin with that Floyd could box circles around Baldo. But didnt he offer us something more? I dont think anyone was expecting him to go tearing into Baldo like Calzaghe tried to do to Bika, but something in between would have been nice no?

If this makes me a hater so be it. But I and anyone else who wants to has the right to have a say.

You are certainly entitled to yours but as I am sure you defend your boys I do the same...But I like you like to do so with intelligence and matureity so as to have something constructive to talk about...

I enjoy these conversations more than looking at cheesy clipart and wide spread anti-anyfighter propaganda

Agreed...but so did Hopkins, Hatton, Calzaghe, Lacy, & a handful of other men when regarding their up & coming opponents.

I just have a large issue with everyone bringing Floyd's entire career into the firing line over one fight.

AWWW I never took it that way Wacko just messin with ya.....

Actually I know what you mean exactly when you say you just like to write for the forum to debate over.....

I have known some of the guys you speak of when you say glory hounds....I also know of writers who believe that because they are writers they are never wrong...Or their opinions are the only ones that count....Annoying little F'Wokers they can be....

I must admit I do to some extent like seeing my name up in print but mainly due to the fact I work hard on most my stories and that is my sastisfaction

Favorite part of being a writer...Promoters...Managers and trainers..

These guys gossip like old women....I wish I could repeat half the stuff they tell me about fighters they once did business with....They love nothing more than to sling mud at a guy they USED to work with....Better than reality TV

Trust me babe...I hope that I don't come off as someone who doesn't think that they are never wrong...I'm wrong all the time by my own admission.

As "fanny" as to my favorites...I do try to be unbiased...it's just a bit hard.

    I said "fanny".

I do want to say this...people do have a right to question what happened to the stoppage...but they really go above & beyond to scrutinize this one...more so than they did with Hatton Collazo or Pac Marquez.

Surely you see that. People are ultra critical of Floyd...maybe it's because of his mouth...but regardless...the man in the ring & the man out are two different things.

Why such a wanker afterwards? Probably he could hear Merchant's mouth whilst throwing punches?
