Something tells me Punisher wouldn't know the first thing about fighting in the ring, much less fighting hurt :P

If you get hurt you fight thru it, ESPECIALLY against chris byrd. Curiously enough it was his left shoulder that was injured. Now why would he quit if his sole dominance of the ring is based on his right cross? .

Seeing as how we have no earthly clue how much pain he was dealing with, it's kind of hard for us to say - unless you're a know it all of course!

So you're saying if a boxer's in pain its ok for him to quit a fight he clearly has won and you'll still support him no matter what?

This is all being said by someone who's more than likely never seen/been in a ring

Or maybe it's being said by an amateur boxer who watches alot of boxing matches but ehhh think what you want.

One of his losses is to CHRIS BYRD!!! because he THREW IN THE TOWEL with a shoulder injury. He had 3 rounds to go clearly winning on score cards and he quit against someone who obviously couldn't hurt him that much. If you're gonna be a nut-hugger atleast pick a fighter that has some nuts in the first place.
Woah there Pussycat, Yeah one of his TWO losses....out of 35 fights came vs Chris Byrd whom is not a bad fighter.

Vitali got hurt, he couldn't punch anymore....should he just stand there and get hit in the face by Byrd....Chris may be small and feather fisted but I wouldn't want to get repeatedly hit without having a way to tie up or defend myself.

The other loss of course was to Lennox Lewis who just BRUTALIZED Mike Tyson.....and he took that fight on short notice and Lennox AS THE CHAMPION owed it to the fans to come prepared so Vitali whipped his ass, got cut, and only lost due to the cut nothing else.

Even talk of this is a waste of space.....No such fight would happen...Tyson is done,,shot,,finished....he not only has no more of a desire but he has no more ability to fight at such a level...this would be a mis match that would be an insult to real fans of the sport if even attempted to be made happen......The past is the past people...get over it!!!!!!......

Hey here is an idea...how about Carmen Basillio VS Jermain Taylor in May!!!!! After Carmens fight with Robinson 50yrs ago I am sure he could KO Taylor...C'Mon I pick Basillio any takers..

Someone said if Tyson trained he would win. yeah if he trained and got used to going 12 rounds, but he would have to get some of his defense back and be able to avoid punches. Thing is Mike stands and tees off now, and with a guy like Klitch, who I do not think is that good, Mike would be there to absorb everything Klitch has to offer. Even when Klitch leans on Mike it will wear Mike down. I would like to see it since Klitch doesnt have a chin, but in all likelihood if Klitch gets Mike into the mid to late rounds he stops Mike.

I think they were shooting for Prime Tyson vs Prime Vitali (which I still think Vitali would win and I can back that up with facts) or Prime Tyson vs Prime Wlad which yeah Wlad would more than likely get caught and go down but Wlad has hella power too so I think post prison Tyson would really struggle with him.

But here's Tyson beater Kevin McBride

So right now or a year or two ago Vitali or Wladimir would just destroy Tyson

i wouldn't even go as far as post prison, i'd say during the training for and after the buster douglas fight was pretty much it for tyson's prime.

Oh trust me, Tyson was on the way down as soon as he got the title because he fired his trainer and he didn't fight as often so he found out what not training is like and he liked it.

Post prison Tyson was still pretty good but obviously not PRIME. Post prison Tyson threw 1-2 punches at a time and not do any defense and tie up and smother the other fighter.

In his prime Tyson worked well in space and threw 4-5 punch combos and kept his head moving and his hands up.

I still think close to the end of his prime his lack of size would hurt him against either Klitschko.
