i'm going to update it as a knockout in the nineth. the corner clearly indicated that they were stopping the fight before the start of the nineth but the ref signalled for the bell to ring to start the nineth before waving it off, my interpretation is that the nineth round had then started giving shervantaigh koopman the win in the nineth. if the result is officially updated & becomes a win in the eigth before the season ends i will update primo carnera's score. as it stands, well done on the pick primo carnera. here's the fight if anyone's intetested, it's a good fight & worth the watch:

I actually watched the end of the fight and I’ll be honest, I think the ref made the problem. I wouldn’t argue if the official result changes to the 8th , but I’ll take it as the 9th for now because it makes quite a difference.

yeah the ref made a mess of it. he should have waived it off when the corner said they were stopping it. instead he forced everyone out of the ring, then signalled for the bell to start the next round & then waived it off. maybe he had money on the nineth. even boxrec still has a question mark for the round
