Triple G has no belt and is semi retired.
The rumour is he is waiting for the right fight to end his career which is a contest back in his native country.
Eubank wanted to face him and I am sure other fighters would like to beat an old Triple G and have that on their record.

By today's standards on inactivity, hard to say and I'd go with no. But I saw a shot of him recently and let's just say yes at least for the foreseeable future.

Golovkin was lucky that Dmitry Pirog was forced to retire due to injuries. GGG wouldn't win a single round
