Had he never moved up he'd be 70-0 or something like that..and i still to this day will stick by my pick as I have for the last year or so..and say that even right now at 34 shane would beat floyd at 147......
dude, your spot on about Sugar Shane

The thing that gets me though, is why didnt he stay at 135 or at least venture to 140 (which he completely by-passed).

Also with other boxers like for example Mayweather, who IMO, whould be forgiven for not moving up to 147 and instead, opting to unify and maybe dominate at 140. Ive seen him at 147 agianst a natural welter and he's only option (albiet extremely effective) is to run.

Just on a pesonal note, this sucks. These are big guys for Floyd at 147, but the funny thing is who actually regards them as big guys?

Id much rather see him have more exciting bouts at 140.

Roy Jones... If Roy had a Brain cell between his two ears he would of Made the fights with Tarver at Cuiser... He's the draw, the heavier man, the man with everything to loose. WHY did he come all the way back down to 175?!

I suppose what im getting at is i really dont dig fighters who move too far from their optimal weight if it means it detracts from thier peformance.
