I am not sure Hagler was aging and slow with Hearns. I think that was his last fight where he was sharp and active in boxing. After that he seemed to lose a step by taking a year off. He seemed to lose some motivation after Hearns as though he reached the pinnacle and put his all in the Hearns fight. But he was not that slow with Hearns. He seemed fast enough and pretty good reflexes. With Mugabi after a year off he seemed more slow and then with Leonard he seemed even slower. I think Hearns was the last fight he was the real Marvin Hagler.
