He seemed to lose some motivation after Hearns as though he reached the pinnacle and put his all in the Hearns fight. But he was not that slow with Hearns. He seemed fast enough and pretty good reflexes. With Mugabi after a year off he seemed more slow and then with Leonard he seemed even slower. I think Hearns was the last fight he was the real Marvin Hagler.

He took some HARD punchs in that fight...I mean HARD.....Then again at hat time everything Mugabi threw was hard......Haglers chin sttod solid.....He took Mugabi's heart...John was not used to teeing off like that then have a guy come back at him.....Marvin is definatly a genuine Legend who was class all around.....Top two or 3 middleweight ever.....One of my all time favorites....Even if he did KO my #1 of all time Thomas Hearns
