I can't find any link to the fight if anybody has one and I will not be able to order the fight so it looks like I will have to depend on a round by round here is anybody going to be doing a round by round?

    AJ has saved boxing.

He put Francis's chin into orbit. His soul ejected into an elliptical beyond the Kuiper belt. His ancestors will be eating through straws after that. That one knockout was big enough that it kind of made up for the overall lack of knockout chaos on the rest of the card.

AJ restored the order in boxing bringing everybody back to reality on the subject of boxing vs MMA with this performance. If Joshua would of lost or got knocked out it would of probably ruined boxings credibility forever.

All week and even months I've heard how "Francis was never really wobbled or dropped in all his MMA bouts, including taking kicks to the head" and about how MMA fighters withstand punches from 4oz gloves, knees, kicks and that getting punched with 'pillows' will be easier in comparison.

The fight just showed the difference in punching power. Elite level boxing can't be played with. For a minute while he was on the ground I thought Ngannou was dying. In less than 6 minutes AJ just reminded everyone to stay in their lane, Boxing and MMA are different.

To think a lot of people were picking Francis based on that fight with Fury or saw it as a competitive fight.

How easy it is to sway people.

And AJ cleaned up Furys mess and although I didn't want Francis to get badly hurt I gotta say he was getting a bit too cocky in the run up to the fight. He seemed to not take the stare-downs with AJ seriously because he knows he could beat him in a street-fight or MMA rules.....as if that made him tougher or superior.

Ngannou caught boxing off guard and I’d rather get paid $25mill getting knocked out like this than fight for $600k. So props to him for that.

But this was easy work. That's what's supposed to happen when an elite boxer fights a novice.

The only amazing thing about this fight was that so many fans accepted it

I guess now Francis knows how Stipe Miocic felt

Well, so much for MMA fighters. Everybody knows. They are very poor boxers in general because they have to concentrate on other things like kicking and take down and all these other things. So this is really no surprise. Is it question mark I was merely rooting for Francis to beat the big gallop, but really. Even an average boxer should be able to knock out an m. M. A fighter, so this is really not that good. Is it even though I was wrong? That French is might knock him. Looks like Francis really doesn't know much about foxing. And he couldn't even keep his left hand up after getting hit twice in a row. With that exact same punch, so let's be honest here. AJ only really knows about the 12 combination. And he has very poor lateral movement. And Tyson fury should be able to outbox him. Rather easily period there is no way that AJ could ever be in the same As Lennox, Lewis or George Foreman.. So so although he is good, he doesn't reach the category of very good and he certainly does not reach the category of greatness.

I second what everyone else is saying. AJ's emphatic KO win was a huge win for boxing. I've never been a fan of (or followed) MMA... so no tears being shed over here.

I'm glad Ngannou is ok, but a 2nd round KTFO was just what the doctor ordered.

As has already been said, had AJ won a cautious decision victory, it wouldn't have felt as good.

Now maybe MMA fans' arguments can be put to bed once and for all.
