I am a fan of Oscar Valdez after beating Quigg and surviving that broken jaw. He was flawless beating Berchelt and it was an amazing win and performance against someone I thought he would not beat.
However, Oscar Valdez pulled off a miracle beating Liam Wilson. He was having a torrid time against Liam who was bigger, stronger, taller, fresher and all round better than Oscar. Yes Oscar won some rounds but overall there was only going to be one winner.
That stoppage was too quick, and Liam should have been more time, the ref just jumped in with no chance for Liam to fight back. Feel for Liam Smith, that was taken from him.

Liam with the sharper shots in 3rd. Oscar showed a clear case of letting a guy back into a round at end. 2-1 Liam

Very gritty round from both 4th. Body work went overtime! Oscar looks to ref twice claiming low blows. Even up 2-2
