Harrison is released from prison

Scott Harrison has been released from prison in Spain and will return to Glasgow on Tuesday afternoon.

And Harrison's manager Barry Hughes insisted his charge would defend his WBO featherweight crown against Nicky Cook in London on 9 December.

The British Boxing Board of Control says no decision will be made until Harrison has undergone a medical.

"I've no worries about the actual fight itself. My only concern is getting Scott to the fight," said Hughes.

==========
Well, after all the kerfuffle about whether he was to be released or not, that's finally been sorted out. Now Nicky Cook must be praing the fight goes ahead, cause he'll never have as good a chance to win a world title as he does at this time against Scott Harrison. Hopefully, the BBBofC will give Harrison the ok to fight against Cokie for the WBO Super Featherweight strap, which IMO is likely to be a darn exciting fight, and a good scrap, as he will come into it much weaker than he usually would be in a world title bout.
