Christina Bobb, an attorney for Donald Trump and the head of the Republican National Committee’s “election integrity” unit, had her mugshot taken on Tuesday as part of her arraignment after being indicted for trying to overturn Arizona’s 2020 election results.

Nice mug shot, she must have spent hours practicing in the mirror to perfect that look.

Last summer, two years after an upside-down American flag was flown outside the Virginia home of Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., another provocative symbol was displayed at his vacation house in New Jersey, according to interviews and photographs.

This time, it was the “Appeal to Heaven” flag, which, like the inverted U.S. flag, was carried by rioters at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Also known as the Pine Tree flag, it dates back to the Revolutionary War, but largely fell into obscurity until recent years and is now a symbol of support for former President Donald J. Trump, for a religious strand of the “Stop the Steal” campaign and for a push to remake American government in Christian terms.

Three photographs obtained by The New York Times, along with accounts from a half-dozen neighbors and passers-by, show that the Appeal to Heaven flag was aloft at the Alito home on Long Beach Island in July and September of 2023. A Google street view image from late August also shows the flag.
The photographs, each taken independently, are from four different dates. It is not clear whether the flag was displayed continuously during those months or how long it was flown overall.
Justice Alito declined to respond to questions about the beach house flag, including what it was intended to convey and how it comported with his obligations as a justice. The court also declined to respond.

I don't care about trump's court case at all. from a scale from 1-10 with 10 meaning very important. I'm giving a .5. how will that pay my house or car. Or stopping people from crossing the border. Just don't care. I'm voting for Jill Stein like I did it 2016.

But it really does have to be said that the first felony conviction of a United States president WASN'T FOR THE ILLEGAL INVASION OF IRAQ BY THE BUTCHER GEORGE BUSH WHO KILLED NEARLY 1.5 MILLION IRAQIS...... WASN'T FOR THE BARBARIC INVASION OF AFGHANISTAN BY OBAMA "THE DEPORTER IN CHIEF" WHO DEPORTED MORE ILLEGALS THAN BUSH OR TRUMP..... wasn't for illegal CIA coups, drone striking weddings, spying on Americans.....

IT WAS BECAUSE TRUMP MISCLASSIFIED A $130,000 PAYMENT TO A PORNSTAR'S NDA.

That tells you all you need to know

I don’t follow the circus that is American Politics , and I don’t care much for the British Political map.
But it is embarrassing to the whole of the United States that they think of themselves as a super power and the best country in the World , yet the best they can come up with to run it , is 2 octogenarians, one barely knows his own name, the other is a wannabe film star.
Surely with the population you have, you can come up with better options than this?

n Bragg's first 15 months on the job, the Manhattan DA's office filed 166 felony counts for falsifying business records against 34 defendants from all walks of life. I haven't heard a single Republican politician explain why they think the law shouldn't apply to Donald Trump. A grand jury of ordinary Americans decided there was enough "specified criminal conduct" to indict Donald Trump. Another jury of ordinary Americans decided there was enough evidence to convict Donald Trump - a jury approved by Trump and his lawyers, who were given ample opportunity to present their case, call witnesses, and get their day in court. Is it the position of Republican politicians that they can only be tried for breaking the law if the charges are brought by Republican DAs, the case is heard by a Republican judge, and the verdict is rendered by a Republican jury? If so, just be honest and say that.

is time for recently elected Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to publicly explain why he suspended the grand jury presentation that focused on whether criminal charges should be brought against Donald Trump for financial irregularities. The abrupt resignation of Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne, who headed the DA’s investigation of Trump under former DA Cy Vance, has raised serious questions that serve to undermine the public’s confidence in the integrity of the district attorney’s investigation. Pomerantz’s extraordinary resignation letter, which detailed his reasons for leaving, and the recent reports that prosecutors are now returning documents to people who turned over information about Trump’s business hardly support the new DA’s claim that “the investigation continues.” Together, we have practiced criminal law as a prosecutor and as criminal defense attorneys for more than 85 years. We embrace the ethical principle that prosecutors should not normally publicly comment on ongoing investigations. But the facts and circumstances of the Trump investigation compelled two highly experienced and respected lawyers to suddenly resign after years of work. This cries out for answers to restore public confidence in one of the country’s most highly respected prosecutor’s offices. Pomerantz, a former federal prosecutor, in fact came out of retirement to lead the investigation at the behest of then-DA Vance. Dunne had served as the DA’s general counsel and had distinguished himself by his successful argument that resulted in the Supreme Court’s decision that Trump’s personal taxes had to be turned over to prosecutors. Pomerantz’s resignation letter did not mince words when he stated that the prosecution team that had been investigating Trump “harbors no doubt about whether he committed crimes — he did.” He went on to say, “I believe that Donald Trump is guilty of numerous felony violations of the Penal Law in connection with the preparation and use of his annual Statements of Financial Condition. His financial statements were false…” Based on the evidence that the DA had obtained and analyzed, he left no doubt that the decision to not prosecute Trump is “misguided and completely contrary to the public interest.” Bragg must explain why the public interest of the people of the state of New York does not warrant Trump’s prosecution based on the evidence that was already in hand at the time of his assuming office in January 2021. At the very least, why not present all the evidence that his office already obtained and leave it to the grand jury to determine whether there is probable cause to believe that Trump committed felonies? What is the evidentiary basis for his decision to halt the grand jury’s consideration of evidence when the prosecutors who had been working on the investigation for years so strongly believed that the facts warranted charging Trump, were compelled to resign rather than remain silent in the face of an “injustice”?

Just to recap: Donald Trump is a felon He joins his campaign manager, deputy campaign manager, national security advisor, foreign policy advisor, political consultant, and personal lawyer as felons.
