Missed a few fights, got back in time for Sheeraz Williams. Sheeraz got wobbled a bit in the early rounds? The size difference was stark. Ammo had a few moments but it looked like a wooden spoon running into an oak door. Sheeraz tucked up whilst Ammo blew himself out, then picked him off. Good performance.

Genuinely pleased for DDD. I thought he was out of his depth here. I said in the other thread that Hrgovic is the better boxer, but it might come down to who holds it together best. It would appear that Dubois has learned a thing or two following a couple of damaging defeats and near misses. The early narrative was that Hrgovic's right hand was just a bit too cultured for Dubois. It looked like it was a matter of time before one really connected and put the skids under him. But, he dug in, he stuck around. OK he might have got a little fortunate with the cuts. But he bit down, fired back and showed that he was mentally and physically stronger than Hrgovic. A really good win.

How to get things horribly wrong by D. Wilder & Team. There's no guarantee that a prime rampaging Wilder beats Zhang, let alone a faded 2024 version. But give yourself a chance for fucks sake. With Zhang, you win the fight in the second half. I don't give a shit how much Chris Algieri knows about macro nutrients, Big Bang wilts in the second half. If Wilder was going to unlock a thunderbolt from the vault he needed an assist. Zhang being just a bit more stationary was that assist. Why he started trying to fight him so early I don't know.

Good job from Zhang. He did what he does. Applies steady educated pressure and gets off big shots as soon as he can. When Wilder fucked up, he was there to capitalise. He's now erased Wilder, erased the Parker loss. And keeps himself in the hunt for a possibly fragmented title.

Old fish eye's handed Edward his arse.
