That an ATG like Iron Mike would sell out to a circus event against a glorified YouTuber for something that'll end in a boring standoff... it's beyond sad.

Eddie is one hypocritical cunt.
Eddie Hearn has described November's Jake Paul v Mike Tyson headline bout in Texas as "dangerous, irresponsible and disrespectful to boxing".
Hearn will attend the event at AT&T Stadium to support Katie Taylor in her rematch with Amanda Serrano, but claims he will leave before the main event.
"The reality is that 20 years ago when Mike Tyson retired from the sport he was shot, completely finished," the Matchroom boss told BBC Sport. "It was actually sad to watch then, 20 years ago."
"I'm in awe of him - he's one of my favourite ever fighters, one of the greatest of all time - but he's a 58-year-old man," Hearn added.
"You only need to speak to him and look at him to know this guy should not be in a ring again."
"If I was Jake Paul I'd just feel a little bit embarrassed to be honest with you. It's a liberty," Hearn said.
"This is dangerous, irresponsible and, in my opinion, disrespectful to the sport of boxing."
The pair were due to fight on 20 July but Tyson had an ulcer flare-up that forced the match with the YouTuber to be rescheduled.
"That was the moment they should have realised that this was actually a bad idea," Hearn added.
"Everybody loves a dollar bill, including me, but sometimes the green-eyed monster can make you some bad decisions - and I think this is one of them."

You were right Tic.
Highly-rated American prospect Bruce Carrington has reportedly been added to the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson undercard.
The 13-0 featherweight will take on Australia's Dana Coolwell in an eight-rounder on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, according to ESPN.

It's a bloody joke.
Jake Paul is really not a very good fighter, but he is big, fit AND 26 YEARS OLD.
People are peddling a Tyson narrative that was no longer true in 2004, never mind 2024.
Yes, he was a ferocious force of nature (and does anybody think a 26 year old Mike Tyson would in any way struggle with Jake Paul), but he was pretty much shot by the time he fought Neilson in 2001. His desire, his technique, his stamina and his chin had already gone then.
He is a 58 year old man, for chrissake. He has spent the past two decades away from the ring, heavily smoking weed. He will gas out after about 4 minutes at pace. His chin will be glass by now ...... and is anyone forgetting that he collapsed with a perforated ulcer a while ago and lost nearly a stone in weight. He is not even a healthy 58 year old.
His only hope - beyond survival - is to go all out and ambush Paul at the start ...... oh, wait, 2 minute rounds and 14 ounce gloves ......
This is a ridiculous spectacle that is nothing at all to do with boxing, and it's downright dangerous.
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

The craziest thing is hearing more than a couple wide reaching boxing "journalist" still blowing smoke up Jakes arse as a positive for opening doors to "new casual fans" and keeping a straight face when giving him credit for learning. Rather than a glorified well-known influencer who's 15 minute gimmick needs respected boxing names (sadly in name only now) to keep his carnival grift afloat. This thing is the debut for another streaming site dipping its toe into boxing and instead of co featuring one of the hottest rising contenders, #1 #2 #2 ranked Shu Shu Carrington, his fight will not actually be aired on Netflix. But a second women's fight after Taylor-Serrano II will be. How many of those "new casual fans" brought in by Paul do you think will go hunt down the fighter with an actual future in the sport on some streaming site or youtube?
