Thank you for that, @TIC
I enjoyed watching it. Oscar looked totally dominant in that fight, and showed an impressive repertoire of shots. I didn't realize CP Freshmart had been the longest reigning minimumweight champion in history. Quite an accomplishment then, for Oscar. Looking elsewhere in the division, there's Melvin Jerusalem the WBC champ... but Oscar has already knocked him out. I'm hoping Oscar unifies all the belts, and who knows... maybe move up a division.
thank turki, he posted all the fights to his youtube channel, but they were already on other youtube channels as a whole card. yeah with thammanoon knocked off artur becomes the next longest reigning champion. fights melvin jerusalem & pedro taduran to become undisputed should be the move, oscar looked pretty big next to thammanoon so i think a move up will definitely happen at some stage

I know it is only early in Collazo's career and Ivan Calderon has been an inspiration and nothing but supportive for Collazo but does Collazo have the ability and opponents to equal or possibly even surpass the heights achieved by Calderon?
They live, We sleep
Glad to see you mention Ivan.Ivan was a great minimum weight in his own right. Not much of a punch, but a wonderful boxer and counterpuncher. Do I think Collazo has the ability and opponents to equal or surpass the achievements of Calderón? I would be inclined to say yes. I've seen several of his fights, and they've been dominant, against more than credible opposition. What separates him from Ivan is his punching power. Being a southpaw I feel also works to his advantage. Time will tell... but I think Collazo is headed to greater things.
