Actually have no problem seeing a young prospect get a severe acid test very early and come out on top in explosive fashion. Just seems like the new default label is "exposed" anytime young guys run into their first real adversity. Again...we want it all in an instant these days. Fantastic instant mini classic fight and was actually yelling with old school excitement seeing Mason dropped and on the brink. Man has to look into his chest at some point and answer the tough questions rather than have it all handed to him and be 100 percent comfortable in there. History is littered with some of the biggest names facing similar adversity early career and learning and carrying on. And tbf it's also littered with young guns who were rushed and incorporated their flaws into an overall game rather than correcting them, ultimately imploding under the hype-job banner. It's a process this development thing.
