Maybe I've missed a few things but since when do fighters weigh in all bundled up in jackets? Unlimited hvy or not, accurate specs should be required. Also, sure is a convenient "historical" event to have one appointed judge suddenly fall ill and they have bring in a TBA replacement on 48 hrs notice. Fury is talking up the whole stand in and smash Usyk babble but I think he'll be making a mistake putting himself in close quarters from the jump. Then again, it's a legit question as to if he still has the legs to do otherwise. Usyk has the punch to hurt him and bust his nose, Usyk knows it. And Fury knows it too.

I thought the same and wondered if they'd ask him to take his jacket off. Most strange.
Anything could happen tonight couldn't it. How much they charging over there for it Spic?

I did wonder this as not seen many photos from training this time round.
Maybe he's massively unfit and just milking us all for one more final pay day like Haye did.
Let's see if he tries to fight with his tee shirt on.

There is a clip, can't find it right now, in which Fury when asked if Usyk is the best boxer he has faced replies "Nowhere near it" and claims that Wilder holds that accolade.
That alone is enough to hope that Fury is made to eat his words a second time. It might be an exaggeration to say that Fury is all that's wrong with boxing and Usyk is everything that is right, but the Ukrainian really is a breath of fresh air, and Fury is a crass oaf. Fury for a big man is better than many, including myself have sometimes given him credit for, but the fella is still in many ways, massively overrated. For someone that big to struggle so much with opponents and now to not even have the grace to admit that Uysk is not the easy nights work he made him out to be, says a lot about his lack of power and delusional beliefs.
The beard is not going to help him but is indicative of a bloke who seems to think he is a special case in a very average era. Got decent odds on a Uysk KO so that probably scuppers any chance of that happening but even better odds for a Fury DQ seems to indicate that he is going to be allowed to get away with anything and it may well take a clean KO for Usyk to get the nod. May the best man win but I hope for Boxing's sake it is not Fury and the circus he has mocked and disrespected the noble art with these last few years.

Well Fubar! Still jammed up at work for likely a couple more hours. Anyone know a specific walk time for the main? @Mark TKO looks like $49.95. But not dropping that to watch a phone fight![]()
