I had it 116-112 for Usyk. @Master can you now see how Usyk does as a heavyweight? This makes Usyk my fighter of the year. It's still early although it's a great start for Fighter of the decade.

So I've just watched it again. The right guy probably won but I wouldn't have been surprised if Fury got the nod. I can see why he's unhappy with the decision. I'm just glad we got round nine in the first fight as its given us something semi decisive. Do I want to see a third fight. Not really as I've no doubt it would go the same way with two technicians being cagey. How many decent punches were landed in the fight?
I guess I miss the days of heavies slugging it out. Usyk is an awesome fighter for sure but his size means he can't really blow people away and that's what a lot want to see with the heavies. What a fighter though.
Interesting observation from a friend of mine who's not really into boxing when he said fury didn't really look like he was doing anything most of the fight yet usyk was always on his toes moving so deserved it. I mean I know what he was saying but....
I can see fury fighting aj and usyk facing dubois. If they both win the trilogy will probably happen though fury sounds like he doesn't want to fight in Saudi again.
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Usyk is a special talent. That is true. But we should not absolve Fury from coming into the fight fatter than a seal. His team thought girth would be able to have him maul Usyk, but all it did was make him a bigger, slower target for Usyk to hit. After about 5 rounds it was clear Fury could not get out of the way fast enough from Usyk's punches. That is why I felt as if Fury would have come down to 255lbs, at least, he would have been more mobile for much of the fight.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Bad strategy by Fury. He clearly realised he couldn’t outbox or live with Usyks 12 round engine after the first fight, so he rolled the dice that he could come in and steamroll him like he did with Wilder.
He soon realised that Usyk is much too cagey a customer for that. His footwork was so good that he hardly allowed Fury and opportunity to maul and lean on him.
I think Usyk just has Fury’s number. They could fight ten times and Usyk would win 10 close decisions.
I didn’t think the scoring as too off. I’ve seen much stranger decisions (GGG/Canelo!). As has been mentioned before, if you shade lots of close rounds you end up winning a wide points decision.
