I'm gonna be honest, and I hope not to jinx anything. (Yes... knock on wood).

As a longtime NFL fan, I've frequently wondered the same thing. I mean... these terrorist nuts like high profile/ high headcount targets. Hence, 9/11.

The Super Bowl is one of the premier events in U.S., sports or otherwise.

Sure... security is tight. But you know these terrorists. They'll scheme and scheme and find ways.

In fact, Hollywood sometimes (unwittingly) tries to give these nuts ideas. You'd think someone would've tried something by now.

Then again, maybe they have, and have been silently thwarted without too much fanfare or publicity.
