Inferno was great! Ever see Earthquake? Think it came out same year with a mini ensemble cast. The Christman0New years gap was always a very off time. You just sort of lose track of time and what day it is. Getting older certainly doesn't help with that . I was always a sucker for sci-fi marathons during. The Planet of the Apes sequels, old westerns and Twilight Zones were always put on in the house during holiday breaks as a kid.
I am going through Twighlight Zone series with my son, he likes them. The actor Burgess Meredith, who plays Mickey in the Rocky films stars in 3 of the episodes which are classics.

Think this is the year we officially retire the standing desks at home. So a little random but since about the last 15-20 years I have this routine in the majority of nights where from about 8 to around midnight I stand up. The exact opposite of what you do after being on your feet all day . Not sure why or how it started but shit man, I don't even own a couch or recliners. I think it may have become a thing watching the big fight nights on weekends. You just find yourself standing up. I'm sure same can be true in ball games and a favorite team playing?! Became a habit to stand up and remain moving in the PM, just for a few hours watching shows, small projects etc. Long story short and combined with earlier stuff now my knee is shot to shit now, January the worst it's been after hitting 50s. Picking up an awesome set of high back stools this weekend and as mama used to say "time to sit your ass down son"

🤣😂🤣🤣🤣 I have the exact same problem, I am 62 now but this started in my mid fifties as well with the standing unnecessarily after being on my feet all day long. I have flat feet so the Arches are specially painful and I am doing the exact opposite of what I should be doing which is sitting my ass down. I didn't get it from watching fights standing, I think partially my OCD is to blame where I get Frozen in one spot and I feel a little superstitious and to sit down is a very strange feeling for me the next thing, my knees and my ankles and the soles of my feet and the fallen arches in my feet are in agony and then I have to quickly jump into bed or jump down onto the floor and elevate my feet to get the terrible throbbing out. I don't know if this is a sign of getting older or a sign of pre Parkinson's or something. Spicoli, I can ask you this as well, I know I have gained significant weight since my early 50s, so do you find that any of this could be attributable to weight gain? That extra weight can really take its toll on the ankles and the bones in the feet and like you said it can really wreck a knee

It starts in your mid-40s when you think that the ingredient labels on food products seem to be written in a smaller text than you remember. So you start to squint. And then you realize it's more than just food labels products. A couple years later somebody suggests reading glasses and you don't want to think of the idea but eventually you give in and you get a pair. Then after a few more years they are not strong enough and you need a stronger magnification
