new record highs? not sure if you caught my earlier post where i linked the official australian year book where it states a hotter temperature in eighteen eighty nine. if you google what is the hottest day in australia it will still give you the nineteen sixty information, try it. luckily many of us still hold physical media from the past. there is a reason everything is being made digital, because it's easy to edit & records can be changed at will, with physical media that's not the case. they also change many definitions. years ago you wouldn't hear about a heatwave unless it was like more than three days in a row, now they scream it for a hot day

Hey guys, leave TIC alone.
He equates one data point with a whole trend. Rock on, dude.![]()
as usual you are missing the point. spicoli mentioned new record highs. that year book was officially authorized by the government. did you google what the hottest day in australia was? so the question is were the government lying back then or is someone lying now? did you see the spock thing? were the "climate experts" lying then?

Whose point? Your point? That's not unusual. I'm sure I miss your point lots of times.
Lying... lying... lying. What is your fixation with lying?
The point IS... that more than sufficient data exists that global temperatures are slowly trending up. In any data field there are going to be outliers. Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of statistics is going to realize that. The fact that snow fell in Florida does not automatically disprove the notion of global warming. I would get into a serious discussion with you about data... but I doubt you will honestly make an effort to understand it.
Global warming data isn't meant for "the sky is falling" reactions. It's just data. Plain and simple. Why on earth would anyone lie about global temperature data? What does anyone have to gain by it? Global warming is global warming... and climate change is climate change. Unless you're a university taught climatologist, I don't think any of us here are certified experts on climate. We can speculate. We can theorize. But none of us here are experts. We have to go by what the available data says. Of course, unless we're naturally skeptical about EVERYTHING... and can't bring ourselves to accept data at face value. Problem with that approach is, you have to counter it with something. Saying: "I don't believe it. Nyah-nyah-nah-nah-nah" just isn't going to cut it.
you can't have a serious discission with someone who throws out personal attacks & makes up their own facts. data is not reality. i just showed you two different sets of data, one set was good enough to be officially used by the government until nineteen sixty & instead of keeping the old official data it is now being scrub & replaced with more recent data, spock was touted climate experts "believing" the next ice age was on it's way. who were these climate experts & what data was he referencing at that time?
let's check back in ten years & see how global warming is going
