I think Bivol is the clear choice for Performance of the Night—his masterful boxing off the back foot in the late rounds against an ATG pressure fighter was something special. Kabayel, Callum Smith, and Ortiz Jr. deserve mention too. Although dominant, Parker did what was expected against such a late replacement, but in my opinion, there are too many asterisks for it to be considered.
Bivol v Beterbiev 2 was boxing of the highest order and an even better rematch. Both fighters were attacking more and took the initiative than their first contest which was more cagey.
The footwork and combinations of Bivol were pure quality and the pressure that Beterbiev applied was relentless.
These two champions are the best in the division and have to have the decider before taking on the other contenders. The contenders should take on one another in an ideal world. Smith v Benevedez, Yarde v Buatsi would be good fights.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
turki also uploaded all the fights to his youtube channel

the purse bid for dmitry v david benavidez was set for today but dmitry has apparently vacated his wbc belt. that might mean dmitry is giving artur the trilogy fight. david b will probably be upgraded to full champion

Trilogy is definitely a go as Bivol was apparently 'reminded' where his bread is buttered aka Turki and it was agreed to prior. Really a loss for fans that this is how it all unfolded and the belts fracture like this but I'm laying it at the feet of continued competing bodies, Wbc, and Turki who it sure feels is working to freeze Benavidez out, but we'll see the next step.
