prospect steve navarro looked really good in a step up. ref stepped in too early to award him a fourth round stoppage

Mason off with the jab early, in singles, and every time Ornelas counters but from different angles. Interesting stuff

Hmm... not on regular TV, I guess. Was watching the Final Four... but would've gladly switched over to the boxing.

Hey bro yeh it's on the espn+ app.

Mason with the KD in 2nd. Gave 1st to Ornelas. Ornelas did the wise thing and took the knee

Mason 3rd. They are really loading uppercuts inside taking turns looking for it. Not impressed with the jab of Mason so far. One at a time and doesn't fire off of it really. 2-1 Mason

Ornelas down again off huge left hook, took knee in corner. They're spot on with Mason he's loading on nearly every single punch though. 3-1

Closer 5th Mason changes it up and letting Ornelas have the front foot and walk in. It's all 1 punch at a time with Mason here. The occasional 1-2 but well. 4-1

Ornelas was doing very well first two minutes of 6th then takes another knee after Mason opened up hard. Ornelas winging off the ropes and gets in a chopping left and right. 5-1

abdullah mason got some more experience fighting a southpaw. scored knockdown in the second round of a left hook & another in the fourth. carlos ornelas took another knee in the sixth off the left. fight stopped after the sixth round
