Dalton Smith was on yesterday and the promoters are trying to work together and not do shows at the same time.

This bout was going to be an undercard fight but because of the huge interest they made an event out of it. I guess Easter Sunday was a good day with the long weekend.

A practice that would be welcomed back, Sunday cards. Reminds me of the old Wide World of Sports Sunday afternoon cards we always had back in the day. Better a Sunday than a Saturday if you ask me.

Whitaker needs to cool his jets. Steady progress. He sounds a bit conflicted with the leaning into the 'wanted to be booed' stuff but then sighting the 6 months as hardship etc. Not the first time we've seen a young, hyped fighter fly too close to the sun.
