Yeh this aftermath is all kinds of shady and gets into another issue entirely. But DHS knew the where and when and chose to wait to act on the charges and green card issue. Unfortunately, I think this entire immigration arbitrary 'round ups' happening now is about to become more massive and it's not the last time "foreign" athletes and events will become flare up points for ICE. They're already setting up in MLB parking lots and Fifa tournaments and music festivals. Frankly it's fucking sickening in the big picture. Another CF in aftermath was Paul being ranked and now they are actually trying to take it back...under someone's pressure or the crooked Wba just wanted the hype off the Paul name for publicity. How about this crazy notion...how about Paul just beat a top 15 guy to take the top 15 ranking . Crazy, I know.

Former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has been jailed in his native Mexico after his arrest in the United States in July.

The Mexican boxer was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Studio City, Los Angeles, five days after fighting Jake Paul in nearby Anaheim.

Mexican prosecutors allege the 39-year-old acted as a henchman for the powerful Sinaloa cartel, which Washington designated a foreign terrorist organisation earlier this year.

He has now been detained in a prison in the northern Mexico state of Sonora, the country's national arrest registry showed on Tuesday, as he awaits charges.

It said that the boxer was arrested at a checkpoint in the border city of Nogales on Tuesday morning and transferred to a federal institution in Sonora's capital of Hermosillo.

The trainwreck that is JCC Jr. Never fully committed to the sport... and eventually spiraled down into a life of crime. His dad must be beside himself. Gotta feel sorry for JCC Sr. He probably wishes his son had never taken up boxing at all, and instead chosen another line of work.

On the other side of the coin is the circus that is Jake Paul. Now that his fight against AJ fell through, he's apparently planning of fighting an exhibition against Tank Davis. Massive weight swings, anyone?

This side of boxing is pitiful.
