It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

So the consensus is that AJ should take on Jake.
"It's a business, man. If [Joshua v Paul] makes sense and does numbers, why not?" Whyte told BBC Sport
"[Joshua] has won the championship twice, had a lot of fights and done a lot so I don't know.
"I'm sure he'll make more money than he did in some of his title fights so sometimes if you can make some money then make some money."

The only concern is that Jake has no real intent and just using the name to sell himself and his promotional outfit. Eddie should only enter negotiations if it is serious and not be played a fool because they would be if the whole thing is just a gimmick.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I hope AJ actually hurts Paul... not in body, but in spirit. We've had enough of this charade. There are scores of real fighters who have been doing this since they were 10 years old, looking for even half of the shot Paul bamboozled himself into. This is pure disrespect to those fellows.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Agreed like knocked out in seconds and asleep for a week with a lot of medical concern - no permanent damage of course. Then we don't have to hear from him again in the ring and this kind of crap is banned
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

Nay, the Ngannou sideshow was enough for AJ. Fighting Paul while AJ is clearly on his last run and effort at the highest level does nothing but put him in another win nothing-lose everything position. Seem to recall feeling same way vs Ngannou. But now the stakes are much higher, career sunset etc. Go out serious in top form vs the very best he can secure. Might be showing my age but I'm so tired of hearing "secure the bag" and Paul would most certainly produce a bag. But ffs AJ could come out and splat Paul and does anyone thing Paul would really go anywhere? And congrats AJ, you will have conquered a tired gimmick who we knew was shat once he stepped up from the basketball players, retired mma ghosts, completely shot boxers. Oh and Tyson Furys little brother
I think I have it now, Jake Paul vs Jarrell Miller! Make that shitshow of a fight happen. Hey we can always hope for a double knockout![]()

It’s a complete farce of course.
But boxing has always had something of the carnival about it anyway - Pete Rademacher fought Floyd Patterson for the world heavyweight championship in his first pro fight. George Foreman fought 5 nobodies one after the other on the same night. McGregor got a title shot against Mayweather in his first pro fight. Sullivan and Dempsey both fought pretty much hand picked stooges once in a while, even Muhammad Ali fought the wrestler Inoki.
The element of farce has never been far away from the business of boxing
