It’s a complete farce of course.

But boxing has always had something of the carnival about it anyway - Pete Rademacher fought Floyd Patterson for the world heavyweight championship in his first pro fight. George Foreman fought 5 nobodies one after the other on the same night. McGregor got a title shot against Mayweather in his first pro fight. Sullivan and Dempsey both fought pretty much hand picked stooges once in a while, even Muhammad Ali fought the wrestler Inoki.

The element of farce has never been far away from the business of boxing

This is becoming a bit of a circus with Andre Ward also dropping his name in the ring.

AJ should be insulted with these challenges popping out because he is willing to consider taking on Jake.

AJ needs to announce his next fight very soon or this will get ridiculous.

if you were AJ and the biggest offer was to fight Paul and an easy night's work what would you do ?

I agree he should take the offer but I think he is being played by Jake who has no intention of taking up the challenge and using the publicity to make his next fight against a no one.

In th meantime he is exposing himself as a desperate fool with no real ambition of becoming a champion again.

desperate fool wanting to make tens of millions - I'd do it

if he got another belt now somehow it's meaningless whilst Usyk is out there

I can't even remember AJ's two decisions to Usyk - were either an SD ?!?

If the fight doesn’t come off AJ will look like a desperate loser.

AJ can make millions winning a title that has been dropped by Usyk.

Usyk won both by unanimous decision with the first contest being closer.

Jake Paul is like an embarrassing fart that just will not go away. Titofan is right Joshua pole axing him in a similar fashion to the way he dealt with Ngannou would as boxing fans be something we (even those who are not fans of AJ) would welcome.

Does Joshua have many other options now that Fury has run off tail between his legs? A stay busy / reset fight before what? Dubois rematch?

I just looked it up. He won the second on a split decision. Remember that. No. Me neither

I have grave fears for the future of Boxing while watching this, would it be at all possible that at least one of these guys will land a punch? Is Paul trying to get DQd?
