This Canelo Alvarez vs Terrence Crawford fight is a big mismatch as the smaller Crawford is moving up 2 weight classes to fight Canelo for a big payday.

Whomever wins this fight is not worthy of being credited because whomever wins will have an unfair advantage. If Canelo wins it’ll be because Canelo is too big and too strong. If Terrence wins it’ll be because Canelo was bribed and/or forced to ‘’Take A Dive’’ /‘’Throw The Fight’’ in a pre-arranged Fixed Fight deal.

Terrence is not asking for catchweight and no rehydration clauses which seems a bit ‘’fishy’’ and suspicious for someone coming up 2 weight classes to fight the bigger man.

Fight Fixing has happened often i big fights for over a century. That's how corrupt boxing was and continuous to be nowadays.

Like many of you have hear about boxing, "Boxing is a business, not a sport".

Good points and interesting take.

I have a couple of comments.

1. Crawford will not win the fight. Canelo is the A-side/ Boxing Diva/ WBC-protected darling. No way they fix it so he loses. I know boxing is crooked many times... but this isn't one of those cases. Ginger will not willingly take a "fixed" L to appease anybody. His (cough) legacy has been protected for years.

2. It's THREE weight classes. 154 is NOT Crawford's weight. He fought exactly one fight there, and failed to take his opponent out. He left his power at 147. The fact that he's been bloated up to super middle means nothing.

I totally agree that if Ginger wins he gets absolutely NO credit. None.

However, on the outside chance he should lose (highly unlikely)... I think Crawford deserves a lot of credit. The odds are stacked entirely against him.

Not only would it be a remarkable achievement... but Ginger should hang his head in shame and immediately retire. (In fact, he should retire anyway. I'm tired of him ducking the elephant in the room.)

Yes... I agree with Primo on the rehydration clause thing. NO WAY IN HELL he gets that one past Ginger's team. Ginger's going to step in there easily in the 180's. I'd say it's gonna be a replay of Ginger vs. Khan, except I believe Crawford is quite a bit more crafty than Khan was.
