Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul will face off in Miami on December 19, 2025, according to the latest reports.

Former world champion Joshua has agreed to fight the YouTuber-turned-boxer in a decision which has stunned the sport.

According to reporter Mike Coppinger, the bout will not be an exhibition but rather a heavyweight contest under Queensberry rules.

According to the same report, an agreement between both camps has been reached - declared a "done deal" - amid claims in the Mail that each fighter will pocket £70million.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, insisted on Thursday that a deal is yet to be finalised, as the former world champion decides on his return to the ring for the first time since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September 2024.

Amid longstanding reports of a British 'superfight' between Joshua and Tyson Fury, Hearn has said his client would require a warm-up bout first.

“[Joshua] has been out of the ring for nearly a year and a half,” Hearn told BBC radio on Thursday. “If he receives several tens of millions to [end his wait to fight] and we get a chance to silence this guy that's annoyed the boxing community for a long time, then maybe. Maybe. A lot of work to do.”

“[The Paul fight is] definitely not agreed yet. We want the real stuff but we want the business as well."

If this does happen then Paul better not survive the first round.

    Well it's officially on

As said Paul shouldn't survive the first round. If he does there an NDA in place

catchweight of 245 pounds, not that it makes a difference

    245??

That's hardly a stretch for AJ.

Jake should've gotten catchweight classes from Ginger.

(Ginger would've drained him to 190)

Catchweight! Jake is in some serious trouble and this will be the end of his boxing career.

Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions and Paul's manager, said he had no concerns about the fight on safety grounds.

"I don't think it's reckless in any way shape or form," he told BBC Sport.

"Jake's in a much better position than a lot of fights which happen in boxing on a regular basis. I think he has a great shot.

"AJ is big, strong, but slower. He's more vulnerable to Jake's movement. In my mind this is more sanctionable than many fights in the sport of boxing."

can't blame AJ for cashing in here - let's be honest we'd do the same

but how does this one go. We all know Paul should be out of there within sixty seconds. If he does that he shows what a farce it is and how the public have been conned.

If he doesn't do it and carries him a few rounds he's damned and tarnished his legacy - and will be rightly villified.

So how the hell does this go
