    Didn't Matias kill someone in the ring?

    This was the same PED that Ryan Garcia was guilty of taking?

    July 2019. Maxim Dadashev died from a brain injury suffered during his fight against Matias. This was devastating not only to the boxing community, but to Matias as well.

    It's too early to tell what's going to come out of the PED investigation, but I wouldn't make that connection just yet (if at all).

    yeah but subriel, if anyone should be ware of the dangers of the sport after maxim's death, if he's taken peds after that he's a piece of shit

    Hard to argue with that. In a sport like boxing, anyone who knowingly takes PEDs is pretty deplorable, IMO.

    sadly i think it's more wide spread, just some are better (right contacts & better gear) at not getting caught

    Feels like Smith v Puello should be the commonsense go to. Matias really screwed the pooch after scratching his way back and it’s unfortunate.
