yeah good reasons, he can also use the fight to wrap up his in ring boxing career if he wants with no shame as he got in there with a former heavyweight champion
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Eddie Hearn told iFL TV: “Let me tell you the script for AJ against Jake Paul: The bell’s going to go.

“AJ’s going to go out, take the middle of the ring, and he’s going to unload the heaviest artillery on Jake Paul‘s chin he can as quickly as possible.

“And he’s going to knock him spark out.

“If you think this is scripted, wait till you see what happens on December 19, because you will go, ‘F**k me’.

“‘One thing’s for sure, that weren’t scripted.’”

Jake Paul showed off a fresh black eye from sparring a British heavyweight in preparation for his bizarre yet seismic clash with Anthony Joshua.

“I’m sparring a bunch of world champion heavyweights. I think Lawrence Okolie did that to me,” Paul said on Adin Ross’ Kick stream. “He’s like six foot six, 270lbs.”

    This is a good watch.

AJ comes across well and Jake as delusional. This will be a massacre depending on how long the problem child wants to sustain a beating. He will quit.

Anthony Joshua has made weight for his upcoming clash against Jake Paul.

The Watford powerhouse is set to lock horns with Paul on Friday night in Miami in a professional heavyweight showdown.

While there is usually no upper limit for fighters competing in the glamour division, Joshua's contract states that he is not allowed to weigh over 245lbs.

The clause was inserted into the deal to help level the playing field for Paul, who has competed at cruiserweight (200lbs) for the majority of his career.

Joshua was on weight two weeks out from fight night and, after keeping members of the media waiting, finally tipped the scales at 243.4lbs on Thursday, just before 6pm GMT.

It marked the two-time unified heavyweight champion's lightest weight since he fought Oleksandr Usyk for the first time in 2021, when he weighed 240lbs.

Paul, on the other hand, weighed just 216.6lbs, more than 10lbs lighter than his only other appearance at heavyweight against Mike Tyson in November 2024, but 17.1lbs heavier than his previous fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

The size difference was apparent when Paul and Joshua came face to face at Wednesday's pre-fight press conference.

Joshua dwarfed Paul as he looked down on the American, who most fans expect to be flat on his back in a couple of rounds when the pair come to blows at the Kaseya Center.

Ringwalks for the main event bout are scheduled for 3:30am GMT, but it could be slightly later based on the results of other fights, like Anderson Silva vs Tyron Woodley in the battle of the UFC legends.

Paul channelled his inner Hulk Hogan when he stepped onto the scales, saying: “I’m absolutely dialled!

“You listen to me. Brother, when the bell rings, I’m coming in there, and I’m coming in on his a**.”

The 28-year-old revealed this week that his fight attire was a tribute to the late WWE legend, who sadly passed away this year.

He will fight Joshua on a larger fighting surface than a standard professional ring on December 19.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, who was by his man's side at the weigh-ins, revealed the bout would take place in a 22-by-22-foot ring.

Paul confirmed Hearn's comments, adding: “That’s accurate - pretty standard.

"I think fights range from 20-foot rings to 24-foot rings. So, 22 feet, I feel great about it.”
