Default Shabaz Masoud v Peter McGrail

SHABAZ MASOUD and Peter McGrail headline a stacked fight card THIS SATURDAY in Monte Carlo!

The pair will go head-to-head for the European super-bantamweight title in the blockbuster main event.

Originally set to face each other last June, the bout had to be rescheduled after Masoud picked up an injury in training.

And now, just under five months later, the two boxers will finally square off in Saturday’s Matchroom event.

Masoud has a perfect professional record of 14-0 and comes into this fight in fine form after he managed to beat Liam Davies by split decision in what was his toughest test yet.

And again, the competition keeps getting tougher as he’s up against Peter McGrail, who’s no slouch, too.

McGrail, 29, is riding a four-fight win streak after his first setback loss in 2023 to Ja’Rico O’Quinn.

Before the main event, some of Matchroom’s best talents also decorate the main card.

Beatriz Ferreira is set to defend her IBF World Lightweight title against Elif Nur Turhan.

Fan favourite Johnny Fisher also features on the card as he makes his return to the ring after his shock loss to Dave Allen.

‘The Romford Bull’ will take on late replacement Ivan Balaz after Herbert Motavu pulled out due to visa issues for Monaco.

Main event: Shabaz Masoud vs Peter McGrail (vacant EBU European super-bantamweight title)
Beatriz Ferreira (C) vs Elif Nur Turhan (IBF women’s lightweight title)
Sean McComb (C) vs Hugo Micallef (IBF European super-lightweight title)
Johnny Fisher vs Ivan Balaz (heavyweight)
Conah Walker vs Pat McCormack (welterweight)

Brilliant and dramatic ending with last round stoppage by Walker who must have been behind and needed the knockout to win.

Fisher nearly knocked out in the first round. He is a knockout waiting to happen.

Wow! Fisher turns the whole fight and stops his opponent in the 4th round. Crazy.

    Fisher is another David Price.

These are close rounds but commentators have McGrail in front.
