Gervonta Davis' legal issues continue to pile up.

On Monday, a Baltimore judge issued an arrest warrant against Davis for violating his probation, less than a week after he was arrested in Miami on allegations of domestic violence.

Davis was on probation for an unrelated hit-and-run in November 2020 in Baltimore that injured four people, including a pregnant woman.

He was handed three years of probation, 200 hours of community service, and 90 days of house arrest, before later spending 44 days behind bars for violating the terms of his home detention.

According to local reports, Davis's attorney, Hunter Pruette, has asked for the arrest warrant to be recalled and for a summons to be issued to appear in court, along with the order of GPS monitoring.

“Mr. Davis has appeared as directed, posted bond, complied with all conditions, remained within Florida, and promptly notified supervision of his arrest,” Pruette wrote in court documents.

“Detaining him in Maryland would frustrate, not facilitate, compliance by impairing his ability to defend the Florida case and creating substantial logistical barriers to court appearances.”

Davis's most recent run-in with the law comes after he was arrested on charges of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment and kidnapping relating to an alleged incident at a Miami strip club on October 27, 2025.

A lawsuit was subsequently filed by Davis' ex-girlfriend, Courtney Rossel.

The lawsuit alleges that Davis entered her place of work and attacked her in a back room that didn't have sufficient surveillance.

Davis allegedly dragged her into the parking garage by the throat and the back of the neck before physically assaulting her again.

Police have said that CCTV footage from the club corroborates the woman's story.

Following a two-week manhunt, Davis was eventually arrested.

He later posted bail for $8,500, but is now back in trouble.

Davis was supposed to take on Jake Paul in December; however, the fight was pulled following the harrowing accusations.

He was recently made WBA lightweight champion in recess amid his ongoing problems outside of the ring.
