Zuffa are getting very busy and I am sure they will start attracting the big names if they keep being active with their cards.

This is going to take some real getting used to, if we get that far . I'm just not digging the massive over branding and corporate structuring that beats fans over the head from start to finish. Takes literally all of the individuality and personality out of what historically draws fans to up and comers and fighters in boxing. Very much comes off like the fighters are secondary and the logo and TKO-zuffa company whoring is primary. Love the production quality. But the "uniforms" and the literally dead atmosphere, and the shilling done but Kellerman and the announce in general. And WTF has happened to Max Kellerman?! Used to love the guy alongside a Lampley or Teddy but put in a lead position and he sounds like a carnival barker hyping the zuffa branding literally at every opportunity. The pacing of the cards is rather quick, and some like that. But to me it takes little effort to do some fan friendly bio pieces on the actual BOXERS and give newer fans some insight...and make it about the fighters! It feels like a bland factory line approach. And contrary to what Dana believes, boxing has always been and must be about the individual fighter and local fan base, then you build on it and grow it. Tbh and I swear I'm not hating but the main event and co main were pretty predictable showcases. But a lot of the post-fight reactions came off like no one ever watched Martin or Elbiali before. Post show Dana made it all about himself and insulting and grievance towards other promotions etc. The politics and ego stroking of the sport, rather than much else. He and Turki are made for each other. Going to be a wait and see thing.

Zuffa have taken Conor Benn which is a slap in the face to Eddie and Matchroom.

i agree they were showcases, efe though is not unhittable & charles showed himself as still capable against jared anderson. i guess some name value to build on for efe? & not many would have seen umar dzambekov previously & what a knockout to showcase with. jaybrio pe benito & mark beuke scored upsets & the other bouts were matched competitively. for me it's similar to probox. they've already put on a foty contender & a koty contender in three shows, i just hope they keep it accessible like the free youtube streams but i doubt that will last

From my viewpoint this is very disloyal from Conor Benn after hearn stood by him throughout his problems. Think he gave him hundreds grand or so too to tide him over.

Has to be more to this surely for him just to leave and not even speak to him. Always is.

A gleeful Eubank Jr posted three laughing emojis, accompanied with the words 'Edddieeee how you feeling buddy?'

He followed that up by posting: "So Eddie Hearn's #1 fighter has now left him.

"Eddie stuck by Conor Benn through thick & thin, getting him off of drug charges & giving him money to live when he had nothing.

"I guess this really shows just how much of a scumbag Hearn actually is… he saves his fighters life & career & Conor still doesn’t want to be involved with him.

"Or is Benn the scumbag for dumping the man that built him? This really is a conundrum. Scumbag on scumbag violence at its finest… don’t say I didn’t tell you guys."

And in a third post, reacting to Hearn's comments on him loaning Benn money, Eubank Jr remarked: "Wow, Eddie Hearn you saved this man’s life & his career & he still wouldn’t even give you a phone call!?

"I knew you were a piece of s***, but Conor must of seen you do some really bad things to not even allow you one call.

"And Conor Benn, for whatever reason you stabbed this idiot in the back (he’s an idiot for thinking he could trust you) just know what goes around always comes back around… you will get yours too."

Is this why Usyk is trying so hard to find an opponent from USA because he has signed with Zuffa boxing?

Initially it made sense to sign a couple "former" and known hvys but the Usyk v Gymkata Karate Kid super star guy really feels like a 100 percent Turki'esqe wet dream. Completely out of left field and if anything, it will have the opposite effect stateside. Hence, BF Egypt

Tons of politics being played now with the Jai and the Ibf and zuffa belt situation. Zuffa was shredding the bodies in public but behind the scenes I think they want them on board to begin with. Trying to establish that fugly zero historical belt zuffa is now calling a belt. I'm actually surprised they are still going with the Meta-Apex arena considering all we're hearing is how historical and what a start this is for Jai and the promotion. The Apex is basically the Ufc basement and frankly Jai merits a much larger venue and bigger exposure even in the states. At least hope they let the champion dress himself and add some lighting and pipe in crowd atmosphere, seriously.

UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall says seeing Conor Benn secure a reported £11m one-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing helped to convince him to team up with Eddie Hearn.

"I think if one guy gets $15m [£11m] and the other guy gets $15k [£11,000], that's a big deal to make, which is part of the reason I want to explore other options," said Aspinall during a news conference on Friday.

"I want to be a trailblazer for MMA fighters who can make a lot of money and be successful outside the octagon as well as inside.

"Publicly or privately, a lot of MMA fighters complain about the money we're getting paid, but that's the contract we all signed. I've accepted that and I want to make as much money outside the octagon as I possibly can."

Aspinall became embroiled in the Matchroom-Zuffa Boxing feud when Hearn suggested White "humiliated" him by not backing the fighter after the eye controversy.

"If they make life difficult for Tom, what kind of organisation are they? They're going to make life difficult because he's signed with a manager?" said Hearn.

"Ultimately we're going to be a lot easier to deal with than a lot of the managers he has to deal with, but Tom was in a position where he needed representation at a high level, respect, and a voice to be heard."

Speaking on Friday, White said he has "no issues" with Hearn over the Aspinall deal, adding: "They can get whoever they want to represent them."

In Aspinall, Hearn says he sees "one of the greatest fighters in the UFC", with an opportunity to grow his profile where he believes the MMA promotion has failed.

"How is this guy not an even bigger star? How does he not have the backing? How is he not respected in certain rooms in the way that he should be," said Hearn.

Aspinall did not say when he would be fit to return after eye surgery, but added he is aiming to fight "as soon as possible".

"Obviously it has to be done at the right time and these guys have come on board at the right time," said Aspinall.

"I feel like I'm ready to move to the next step in terms of commercial value and stuff like that and I'm motivated to do my thing."
