Sorry--I don't tailor my posts to the most literal-minded people out there. Obviously, Oscar knows who Hatton is--you don't need to cite evidence for me. It was a rhetorical point. Hatton is not a star on the level of Oscar or PBF or Winky Wright or anyone else who Oscar might seriously consider fighting. Plus he can't compete outside of 140 and Oscar is at 154. Seriously, the Hatton-PBF stuff is silly enough in terms of being uneven and never going to happen; talking about Oscar-Hatton is absurd to the extreme.

Yes, and 99% of that "lot of people" live in the UK.
yeh and back when Floyd first moved to the 140 limit and called out Oscar and Winky I bet just like me you thought that was absurd to the extreme!!

If you walk around at 180 pounds between fights, were an Undefeated Lineal Light Welterweight Champion + Welterweight Champion 41-0 and you had the opportunity to fight one of the greatest Lightweights in history before he retired at Light Middleweight for $8 million (arguements sake) would you?

the answer is yes... in a heart beat...

I believe Oscar would pay the money because it would make for an exciting fight as long as it lasted and in years to come Hattons name will pop up in the history books!! Hatton did end the career of a great boxer.
