I agree with Peter but Bernard Hopkins is not overrated at all. He is one of the few greats of our time. I dont even see how you would come up with his name on a post like this.

Most overrated since 2000 = Wladimir Klitschko (although since training with Steward I will say he's improved a lot), Antonio Margarito (really what awesome fighters has he fought...at least Hatton fought Tzu), Nicolai Valuev, Calvin Brock, Manfredo Jr.,

He floored my #1 pick for the most overrated fighter since 2000 three times and the man with the notoriously glass jaw. I give him props but he couldnt finish the fight and lost one he shoulda won easy with his early performance. He is definitely an overrated piece of shit compared to some of the talent we have had over the years. I doubt he would beat a prime Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks or Tim Witherspoon.

You mean "the best heavyweight right now"...at the moment, Wlad was viewed as damaged goods and was seen as a stepping stone for Peter to jump up to the title contention level

Sam Peter isn't overrated...he's decent but no world beater

Calvin Brock isn't overrated he lasted 7 rounds with Wladimir Klitschko...that's good for a guy who hadn't ever fought such a tough puncher before

    Valuev....I agree, he's a bum

Wlad is not overrated! He's the best heavyweight out there right now

Wlad would be the favorite against all other boxers all time dispite his brother. He would rape Ali or Rocky.

I'm not comparing Wlad to any all-time greats

I'm just saying Wlad is not overrated!

VD I agree with your list, though perhaps Antonio Tarver instead of Woods at light heavy

Brock was definitely overrated. I heard all this talk about he was the next great champ blah blah blah. He looked like shit against WK. Stood in front of him the whole night and waited to get knocked out. Wlad is the best heavyweight right now out there but i still think he's overrated; he is the best of a crop of lackluster talents... him and his brother are both highly overrated IMO cuz people keep comparin them to ali to foreman and other greats who would have mopped the ring with them. Larry Merchant blows that guy up like there is no tomorrow...did u hear when he was all, "...and now Madison Square Garden will await the entrance of this huge, beautiful man..." I was like wow Larry. You must really be on this guy's nuts...

Ricky Hatton. Especially on this board. One sloppy win against an over-the-hill and inactive Kostya Tszyu and people want to act like he's possibly the #1 p4p fighter in the world, capable of KO'ing Mayweather. Yawn.

On Sam Peter--does anyone really rate the guy well enough to call him overrated? He's probably the #4 or #5 guy in a shite HW division. He's terribly unskilled and probably holds the active boxer rabbit-punching record, but I've never heard anyone say otherwise. And he could probably beat anyone other than Wlad and Toney (who he did not beat last time).

Oh, also possibly Vargas. I can't quite remember when people realized that he wasn't really that good--could have been before 2000.
