I agree, their striking usually sucks. But if you were out in the street, Jiu-Jitsu would be much more handy than boxing. As any drunk barsmith knows, most fights go to the ground. And if you can control all ground movement you'll probably kick some ass. Feel free to go to any Jiu-Jitsu school and challenge them to a fight. They aren't about all that moral disipline stuff, they loving choking people out.

Yes I know there are SPORTS where you kick....in a "street fight" I would rather not win than win by kicking.

My friends all watch UFC....it can attract the casual observer. But I tell them...if you think these guys are tougher and have more dedication than B-Hop and other elite boxers....you are mistaken. I just don't understand how you could enjoy this sport whenever boxing is an alternative?? Something else: if you don't think that politics enters into UFC you are living in F.W. (fantasy world). If HBO cuts boxing I will immediately cancel HBO. Thats the only reason I have it. I don't know if UFC has that kind of pull on its audience??
