Dan mate, I'm gonna give you a cc for all the shit you've had thrown at you by unhappy fans because their fighter isn't on the list. A good topic, but with all prospects a lot of it is subjective. Anyhow, you did a great job on getting all the brits in there, and you can't be expected to know all the yanks coming through, there's 20 in every city across the land in the eyes of the fans. Great topic, and once again, 07 will be the year of the Cookie.

I like the way Giovanii segura fights, and I have been waiting for Steven luevano to step up for a while. and Juan manuel lopez seem to be getting more popular.

I had to give it to my man paulie...
i personally dont consider him a prospect i think hes on the line of making it..
but then again hes yet to score a world title so that makes him a prospect...
was a tough one though man!!
i think paul williams has got a lot of good coverage this year .. hes bound to blow up next year..
and ya all gotta be looking out for my other personal faves in the list..
Librado andrade, i hear hes moving to light heavy and theres not a great deal going on up there im hoping hes gona rumble and make it big up there....
And of course Alan ' sweetness ' Green.. hes got some issues with his skill atm but i recon hes gona blow up this next year big time... its just a shame that two people have the four titles and im not sure how he will fare against either.. definately has a shot at it though!!
think theres some great fights at super middle next year!
great thread.. and cc to dan for a very good list!!
    Peace

Quintana has the best shot at it, since he's already got the fight lined up that could get him there. And I think that one's a toss-up.

Steve Molitor, but he's a world champ now, he doesn't count. I guess I worded the titles, wrong, I only qualify fighters who are fringe contenders, they don't neccessarily have to be young.

I wouldn't say he's missing.. Unless this has been changed to prospects who were the most overrated, or were exposed the worst.. He won't be doing much imo, the Campos fight proved that.. Waaay too many flaws, the way he fights I can't see him ever being a contender to be honest.

Campas may have been old, but a fighter like him loses never loses his quality, you can't judge a fighter completly until they've been beaten IMO.
