That being said...Castillo's noggin work & output would be a huge factor in the fight...but the fact that Hatton would probably have open season on that big tall lanky frame of his would be a factor too.

I just don't know...or maybe don't care too much for the pick.

I'll go with Hatton...because I like him better as a person (from what I've seen & read) than I do Castillo.
I'm not a particular fan of either guy, BUT I think this would be a hell of a slugfest.
The reason I picked Castillo is that he's been in there with guys that can hit harder
at the same workrate as Hatton (Corrales, Paez), but Hatton has never tasted the power
that Castillo has. Pay particular attention to Corrales - Castillo 2 (link on the beginning
of this thread) It would look almost the same as that. I also wouldn't really say
that Castillo is more skilled, I think he is just the tougher guy. Castillo has never been
officially knocked down he has lost 3 fights because of cuts and 2 got waived off by the ref.
he has an 87% KO percentage with over 50 wins. JLC will have won titles in 4 weight classes
if he makes weight for his fight in January.
All due respect bro, but I'd never compare Hatton's inside fighting to Corrales, I'm not saying corrales is a bad fighter, he's a brilliant fighter, especially when he uses his jab, but Hatton is a completly different type of inside fighter, people don't realise about how much power he actually has, and how well he puts his combinations together. Every shot has a lot of power on it, and its enough power to wear down the great Kostya Tszyu. Corrales actually KO'd Castillo, I don't think Hatton could do that, but what I think he could do is wear Castillo down with pace, and put Castillo on the back foot, not just stand toe to toe, but actually put Castillo on the ropes, where Hatton is extremely dangerous. I can't envisage Hatton being on the ropes in this fight. I think its one of the keys to this fight.
