That being said...Castillo's noggin work & output would be a huge factor in the fight...but the fact that Hatton would probably have open season on that big tall lanky frame of his would be a factor too.

I just don't know...or maybe don't care too much for the pick.

I'll go with Hatton...because I like him better as a person (from what I've seen & read) than I do Castillo.
I'm not a particular fan of either guy, BUT I think this would be a hell of a slugfest.
The reason I picked Castillo is that he's been in there with guys that can hit harder
at the same workrate as Hatton (Corrales, Paez), but Hatton has never tasted the power
that Castillo has. Pay particular attention to Corrales - Castillo 2 (link on the beginning
of this thread) It would look almost the same as that. I also wouldn't really say
that Castillo is more skilled, I think he is just the tougher guy. Castillo has never been
officially knocked down he has lost 3 fights because of cuts and 2 got waived off by the ref.
he has an 87% KO percentage with over 50 wins. JLC will have won titles in 4 weight classes
if he makes weight for his fight in January.
You doylem!!! Hatton has tasted the power of kostya Tszyu who hits harder then any of the guys you have mentioned. He's aslo taken some hell of a shots from a real welterweight and not the lightweights that castillo has fought. I also don't see how you can say Corrales has the same workrate as Hatton. Sure he lets his hands go when he's standing in the middle of the ring and i respect him for that. But he doesn't show the same workrate as hatton has shown throuought his career. Corrales can either try to walk ya down or let his hands go. He doesn't seem to do both at the same time. If he did he might have stood a decent chance against mayweather isntead of following him around taking punch after punch.
Quote me on this Castillo hits harder than Collazo at any weight.
